The plasma process involves creating an electrical circuit through the metal workpiece. Compressed ionized gas is directed through the plasma nozzle and out towards the workpiece. The plasma head uses an electrode near the end of its nozzle to form an electrical arc within the gas. This creates an electrically charged channel of plasma using directed electricity via the machine, down the head, and through the nozzle. This process delivers a sufficient amount of heat to cut through the metal. Advantageously, this process removes the excess metal through the high-velocity plasma process itself.
PLASMA CUTTING SERVICES.
CNC plasma tables allow for clean and precise cuts with minimal warping to the material. Our machines are capable of quickly and efficiently producing the parts you need, when you need them.
Maximum Plate Size: 120" x 595"
Maximum Plate Thickness: 1 1/2"
Our facility operates two high definition plasma cutting machines that are capable of quickly producing high quality profiles. These machines can operate at anywhere from 80A to 240A and have the ability to cut stainless steel as well. Our staff is trained to run the CNC machines with precision and operate on a 12/5 work cycle.
